When AccountEdge upgrades a company file, it opens the existing company file, reads all the data from this file, and creates a new file with all the same data. You'll follow the steps and upgrade the company file. You will receive a message indicating the company file needs to be upgraded. The version (year) indicated in this window should match the version (year) of FileConnect.Īfter installing your new version of AccountEdge, you use this new version to attempt to open your company file. Launch AccountEdge Network Edition, and click on the words AccountEdge NE in the upper left-hand corner of screen (to the right of the little apple).
